Chat privacy notice

You're chatting with an automated assistant (an AI), not a person. It answers questions about and can take your details so the team can get back to you.

Who's responsible for your data: ("we") is the controller of the information you share here. The assistant is provided and run on our behalf by NanoPorter, a service of PB Eng Ltd.

What we collect: what you type in the chat, and any name, email, phone or enquiry details you choose to give so we can reply.

Why: to answer your enquiry and, if you ask, to pass your details to our team to follow up. Our basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our business.

Who it reaches: your message is handled by a small number of trusted service providers acting on our behalf — an AI language provider (which may process it in the US under standard data-protection safeguards), secure cloud hosting, and an email provider for notifications. Your conversations are not used to train AI models. We can provide the current list of providers on request.

How long: enquiry details are kept while we deal with your enquiry and our records; chat transcripts are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted.

Cookies and storage: the assistant sets no cookies and does not track you around the website or across other sites. While your chat is open it keeps the conversation in your browser's session storage, so you don't lose it when you move between pages. Your browser deletes it when you close the tab, and ending the chat clears it straight away.

Please don't share health, financial-account, or other sensitive details in the chat — it isn't the place for them, and the assistant can't give medical, legal, or financial advice. You can always ask to speak to a person.

Your rights: you can ask us what we hold, or to correct or delete it — contact . You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
